Westchester County
  • Secured improved security measures at Indian Point, replacement of a faulty and unreliable siren warning system, revision of the Indian Point Evacuation Plan, and a comprehensive Independent Safety Assessment (ISA).

  • $27.6 million to construct a new long-term nursing care facility at the VA Medical Center in Montrose.

  • $2.5 million to purchase new buses for Westchester County.

  • $75,000 to help implement a “Clear Choices” Drug Prevention initiative in the Westchester County District Attorney’s office.

  • $500,000 for the Westchester-Putnam Counties Consortium to provide expanded job training services to jobless individuals seeking employment in the construction trades.

    Bedford
  • $880,000 to Help Protect Open Space, improve local roads, construct sidewalks and curbs on Valley Road.

  • $31,595 for the Katonah-Bedford Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps to purchase new communications equipment and improve fire responder rescue operations.

  • $20,000 to purchase a new police patrol vehicle.

    Cortlandt
  • $520,000 for roadside improvements, the construction of sidewalks and curbs on Tate Avenue and Westchester Avenue.

  • $92,730 for the Croton and Buchanan Fire Departments to purchase new equipment, enhance training and emergency preparedness.

  • $1.2 Million to reconstruct the sidewalk at Kings Ferry Road and Route 9A; to construct sidewalks along Broadway in Verplanck; make road improvement through FDR VA hospital; and to construct a roundabout at Oregon Road, Westbrook Drive, and Red Mill Road.

  • $491,782 to upgrade emergency facilities at the Hudson Valley Hospital Center.

    Mt Kisco
  • $72,514 to Install Exhaust Systems and make infrastructure improvements at three Firehouses

    Lewisboro
  • $150,000 to make improvements to the Onatru Community Center.

  • $192,000 to reconstruct 1.5 miles of Main Street and reconstruct the Silver Mine Bridge and widen the roadway.

    North Salem
  • $800,000 to repave Hawley Road and Keeler Lane and to reconstruct June Road in North Salem.

    Peekskill
  • Secured $500,000 through the Drug Free Communities Support Program to assist the City’s Youth Bureau’s anti-drug and anti-alcohol program.

  • $1 Million to improve pedestrian access on Brown Street and make needed road and street repairs and infrastructure improvements.

    Pound Ridge
  • $27,000 to purchase a new police patrol vehicle.

    Somers
  • $400,000 to reconstruct local roads.

    Yorktown
  • $1.488 Million to reconfigure Mohegan and Lakeland Streets, purchase an internal circulator bus, construct a new turning lane on Mohansic Avenue and reconfigure Ridge Street and Hallocks Mill Road.
